The area
We are based in Galicia, in the north-west corner of the Iberian Peninsula, specifically in the regions of Ferrolterra and Ortegal.
The towns of Valdoviño and Cedeira have everything you might need need, including: shops, a health centre, police station and a college. The city of Ferrol is no more than half an hour away and A Coruña (the provincial capital) is about an hour’s journey.
The climate is humid oceanic with predominantly mild temperatures and an annual average temperature of 13° C. This climate in combination with the local soil fertility means a garden practically grows itself.
Our estuaries, forests and wetlands are rich in biodiversity and attract a wide variety of migratory birds.
